The journey of inner reflection comes naturally as a byproduct of being an introvert. Human behavior, even my own, remains a mystery.
Like Nick Carraway, in The Great Gatsby, the observation of others on this road of destruction captures the attention, inspires the questions, and satisfies the voyeur in all of us.
For some the joy is in the fall with a ready audience to applaud them, while others enjoy watching the fall but return to their beds without bruises. Is one better than the other? No. But each has a memory, but only a few write it on paper so others can read it.
The individual who discovers another with the same thoughts and feelings is like discovering precious metals in the front yard. Riches abound because of the relationship. The same is true when the individual discovers another who increases knowledge, who expands the horizons of intellect, who is a joy to know. These are excellent friends. They build each other up. They encourage one another. They close ranks on the troll or hater who desires to sew discord and jealousy. They are a community who cares.
Life is improved by others who participate and share ideas. Your constructive thoughts are helpful. The goal is to build a community.
